Heru: Retired ASN Still Benefits the Surrounding Environment

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, submitted a Retirement Decree and released civil servants who will enter retirement starting May 1, 2024.

Jakarta is still in a fairly good position

It is an appreciation and form of attention from the Jakarta Provincial Government to employees for their dedication and service so far.

"You have graduated in service. If teachers raise students, non-teachers raise organizations. Until now, Jakarta is still in a fairly good position thanks to you ladies and gentlemen," he expressed, accompanied by City Secretary, Joko Agus Setyono at Jakarta City Hall, Monday (4/29).

He added that it was hoped that the hard work and great contribution made by the employees who will retire will be an inspiration and motivation for the next generation in improving the quality of performance and service to the government and the residents of Jakarta. According to the Acting Governor, retirement is not the end of service, but rather a new chapter to continue to have a positive impact on the community in the surrounding environment.

"We're retired, don't be sad. Everyone here will get to that position, it's just a matter of time. (After retirement) returning to serve your family, gathering with your family, raising a generation, that's a joy," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta Government's official site.

City Secretary, Sigit Wijatmoko stated that 188 decision letters were submitted today to echelon IIB, IIIA, IIIB, IVA, IVB officials, functional teachers and other functional employees.

Its decision letter had been processed by the Jakarta Regional Employment Agency (BKD) in an integrated and digitalized manner to facilitate all processes.
